Born near Williamsport, PA ("Home of Little league Baseball"), Jim has been a part of the mountains of Central PA for 50 some years. He now lives in Jersey Shore, near the beautiful Pine Creek Valley, home to almost all outdoor recreational activities, and gateway to DCNR's "PA Wilds". Jim is an avid fisherman, spending most of his time in Pine Creek or the Susquehanna River, or in a canoe on Little Pine State Dam or Rose Valley Lake. Mostly a bait or spinner fisherman, he has recently started to learn the intricacies of fly fishing. Jim also owns a cabin in Potter County, PA ("God's Country"), near the village of Cross Fork (population 80,) which fronts on Kettle Creek, one of the finest trout streams in the State. When he's not in the water with a fishing rod in his hand, you might find Jim on his bicycle on the 62-mile Rail-Trail between Jersey Shore and Wellsboro, or riding his ATV on the trails in the mountains of his beloved Central PA. Jim is married to a long-time Real Estate Broker and they have 2 children. The entire family enjoys the outdoors, although his wife often says that her idea of "roughing it" is a cheap Holiday Inn.
