Tyler Richardson shot this monster 12 point while hunting at his family's cabin near English Center, PA. Deer like this are proof that the latest antler restrictions are working to create larger bucks in the state.
Jay and Jim found the guys that were making the rubs, this is in late February and we have had a pretty hard winter, a lot of snow and very cold for most of December, January and February. These two satellite bulls seem to have weather the winter pretty well. They were browsing on hemlock when we saw them. Didn't see there dad but there are some great bulls in PA. If you have never went for a ride in the PA Wilds you don't know what you’re missing.
March and April prove to be some of the best smallmouth bass fishing months throughout the year. My most recent trip I caught well over a dozen big smallmouth, half over 16” and some reaching 18”, fishing on the beautiful Susquehanna River. - Cole Kimball

Watched this buck most of the summer and into the fall with my trail cameras. My kids and I spent a lot time going back to our hunting cabin, changing batteries and memory cards on cameras as we watched several good bucks. Couldn't wait to get the memory card in a camera to see what we had pictures of. One seemed to be quite a bit bigger than the others and only was seen at night. Never got any reel good pic's of him but thought he would score over 100. You can see he is working a food plot we installed in 2007. Took a lot of lime and fertilizer but it is bearing fruit. We limed and fertilized again in 2008 and reseeded some areas that didn't take from the previous year. We have had a lot of fun with the food plot and I would recommend you make a few on your property. It's a great project that everyone can be involved in and all can watch it work into the fall hunting season. - Jay Alexander
